You can use a wreath to decorate your door, or as a decoration in your home. You can also use poufs for other purposes such as decorating for the holidays or making a flower arrangement.
This Video Should Help:
Wreaths are a great way to decorate your home for any season or holiday. You can make them out of almost anything, including bath poufs. Making a wreath out of bath poufs is a fun and easy craft project that you can do with the kids. Plus, it’s a great way to recycle those old bath poufs that you don’t use anymore.
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own wreath out of bath poufs:
-1-2 dozen bath poufs in any color (we used white)
-hot glue gun and glue sticks
-ribbon, string, or twine for hanging
-optional: decorations like paint, glitter, etc.
Start by cutting the poufs in half with scissors. You should end up with 24-48 half-circle pieces. Next, take one piece and glue it to the back side of another piece so that the rounded edges are touching. Continue doing this until all pieces are glued together in a circle. Then, glue one end of your ribbon, string, or twine to the back side of the wreath and wrap it around to the front. Tie it in a knot or bow and trim off any excess. Your wreath is now ready to hang!
If you want to add some extra flair to your wreath, you can decorate the pieces before gluing them together. Try painting them in metallic colors or adding some sparkle with glitter glue. Get creative and have fun!
What You Will Need
What You Will Need
-A hot glue gun
-A wire wreath frame
1. Cut the pouf in half with scissors. You will only need one half for this project, so you can save the other half for another use.
2. Hot glue the cut edge of the pouf to the wire wreath frame. Start at the top of the wreath and work your way around, gluing the pouf as you go.
3. Once you have glued all the way around, trim any excess pouf from the bottom of the wreath with scissors.
4. Hang your wreath on a door or wall using ribbon or a hook.
Step One: Make The Base
The first step to making your own wreath is creating the base. You can use a foam wreath form or create your own base out of chicken wire. Once you have your base, start by hot gluing the poufs to the outermost ring. To make sure that the poufs are evenly distributed, use a ruler or measuring tape to space them out as you glue them on. Once the first row is complete, move inward and continue until the entire wreath is covered.
Step Two: Add The Extras
Now that the basic wreath is complete, it’s time to add some personality! You can add ribbons, bows, pinecones, berries, ornaments, or anything else you can think of. Get creative and have fun with it!
Step Three: Hang It Up And Enjoy!
Your wreath is now complete! Hang it up on your front door or in any other spot in your home and enjoy!
Step Two: Add The Poufs
Now it’s time to add the poufs! I used about 12 poufs for my wreath. You can find bath poufs at the dollar store, or you can even make your own out of old washcloths. Once you have your poufs, it’s time to start pinning them to the wreath form. I started by adding them in a circle around the outside of the wreath, and then I added a few more in the middle. You can arrange them however you like!
Step Three: Finish It Off
Now that you have your pouf wreath, it’s time to finish it off! You can add a bow, some ribbons, or even some fake flowers. Get creative and make it your own! The Final Product
This wreath is so easy and budget friendly! I made it for less than $10 using items I found at the Dollar Store. All you need is a wire wreath form, some green poufs (I used 3 large ones), and a few pins.
Start by pinning the poufs to the wreath form. I started with the bottom row and worked my way up. Once all the poufs are in place, fluff them up a bit to give the wreath some fullness. That’s it!
This would be a great wreath to hang on your front door or in your bathroom. If you’re looking for more bath decor ideas, be sure to check out my Bathroom Pinterest board. I’ve been pinning lots of great ideas lately!
